This is a picture of me getting over my tiny phobia of
touching raw meat. It wasn’t hard at all. My grandma was going to teach me how
to make a basic seasoned chicken. I told her I wanted to do everything by
myself and she said okay. She told me all I had to do was open the packaged
chicken, drain the blood from the breast, clean it off a season it. The thought
of me doing this grossed me all the way out but I came to realization that it’s
just food; it’s not going to bite or anything. I dived right in, getting into
the crevasse of the meat, cleaning and cutting it. Surprisingly it wasn’t that
hard at all. After all of that, the chicken came out great. For anyone out
there who doesn’t like cooking just because of the touch and scent of meat, it
is not that bad. You just have to tell yourself it’s just meat, nothing to
dangerous and you have to think of the end result. After you get over your fear
you will realize that you can do so much with cooking meat and make really good
things, not only for you but for your family also.
